Azucar Minerals is engaged in the exploration of the El Cobre project in Veracruz, Mexico. Co. has not generated significant revenues from operations and is considered to be in the exploration stage. The recoverability of amounts shown for exploration and evaluation assets is dependent upon the discovery of economically recoverable reserves, the ability of Co. to obtain financing to complete development of the properties, and on future production or proceeds of disposition. Co. operates in one reportable operating segment, being the acquisition and exploration of mineral resource properties in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
