K2 Gold is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral interests. Co. has not yet determined whether the properties being explored contain economically recoverable mineral reserves. The recoverability of the amounts capitalized as mineral properties is dependent upon the existence of economically recoverable ore reserves, securing and maintaining title and beneficial interest in the properties, obtaining necessary financing to continue to explore and develop the properties, and upon future profitable production or proceeds from disposition of the mineral properties.
