The Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund is an open-end management investment company. The Fund seeks to provide investment results that, before expenses, correspond generally to the price and yield performance of publicly traded equity securities of companies in The Consumer Staples Select Sector Index (the Index). The Fund typically invests in substantially all of the securities represented in the Index in approximately the same proportions as the Index. In seeking this objective, the Fund uses a replication strategy. As of Sept 30 2015, the Fund's total assets were $7,466,173,858 and the Fund's investment portfolio was valued at $7,442,859,009.
